Short trip
Short trips can only be generated within a time window. This means that a short trip cannot be generated earlier than 10 minutes after exiting the Taxi Pocket at the terminal and no later than 35 minutes after exit.
If a car drives out of the Taxi Pocket at the terminal and returns to the Taxi Remote within 35 minutes , it is viewed as a short trip. The car will then be placed at the top of the queue. If several cars return from short trips, they are placed in the queue based on the entry time to the Taxi Remote. When a car is in the queue after a short trip, free exit is not possible. Short trips do not apply if the car has previously been developed as a pre-order or special order
Free exit
If a car drives out of the Taxi Remote, the car retains its place in the queue until the car in front of the queue is developed. If the car returns to the Taxi Remote before it is developed, it will retain its place in the queue. If the car does not return to the Taxi Remote in time, the car will lose its place in the queue. The time for free exit depends on how many cars are ahead of the queue and the current need for taxis. The time for free exit is a maximum of one hour. To keep track of your place in the queue, the mobile app can be used. Please note, if the car is registered at another reader at the airport (e.g. at drop-off or taxi rank), the car loses its place in the queue.
Developing
Cars that are called are shown with their registration number on the large light boards on the Taxi Remote, on the screens inside the common room and in the mobile app. It also states which terminal the car is being called to and different colors are used for different types of development (White = spontaneous queue, red = pre-booking, green = airport taxi, yellow = appride and orange = special order).
Time to leave the Taxi Remote when called - spontaneous queue
A car to the spontaneous queue has 5 minutes to leave the Taxi Remote when called. If the vehicle fails to leave within 5 minutes, the car will be placed at the back of the queue in its priority group. If the vehicle misses when called a second time, the car must leave the Taxi Remote and re-enter the queue (these cars are highlighted in red on the screens). Then the car ends up at the back of the queue. Every time a car is called, a fee is charged regardless of whether it leaves the Remote or not.
Time to leave the Taxi Remote when developing – pre-booked car
A pre-booked car has no time limit for leaving the Remote, however, the car's
registration number is only displayed 5 minutes on the large light board. No other driving can be done until the car has driven out of the Remote and then either passed the correct terminal's taxi pocket or re-entered the Remote.
The right terminal
A called car may only drive to the terminal where it was called. Only the barrier at this terminal will be opened for the car.
Ride to terminal
An called car has 5 minutes to leave the Taxi Remote and then 10
minutes to drive into the correct terminal after it has left the Taxi Remote (applies to both spontaneous queues and pre-booked queues). After that, the car will lose its place in the queue and the barrier will not open.
Pause calling
Calling can never be paused. This also applies to electric cars that are charging. Electric cars that have a great need for charging can drive to the charging area without standing in the queue (drive to the right at Flygbussarna). When charging is complete, they can drive back into the Taxi Remote and join the queue
Pre-orders/pre-orders
All pre-orders must be entered into the Vendor Website. A pre-booking can be placed with a specific vehicle (registration number) or without a registration number. If a registration number is provided, this car will be called up to the pre-booking, provided that the car is on the Taxi Remote when calling was done. If the vehicle is not in place, the system will automatically select the first available vehicle that matches the criteria (e.g. number of passengers, special requests, etc. from the same company. If a specific car is not specified (registration number), the system will select the first available vehicle that matches the criteria (e.g. number of passengers, special requests, etc.) from the company
and call out this car.
Appride (Uber, Bolt, Taxi Chase, and more)
The driver with a confirmed trip must go to the office and show the trip unless the company has an integration (API) with the calling system, which is then handled automatically. The staff on site enter the pre-booking into the system and the car is called down to the correct terminal. Please note that this counts as a pre-booked trip and the car is charged both the basic fee and the pre-booking fee. This type of driving cannot generate a short trip
