Fast charger on airside
There are three new fast-charging stations in operation on the airside, at Terminal 2 (Gate 61) and at Terminal 5 (east of Terminal F).
They offer charging with up to 160 kW of power. The chargers can be used by both heavy vehicles and passenger cars, and the connection technology is of the CCS type.
Swedavia has a procured partner for handling charging and payment, Virta, which allows charging to be started easily via an app, charging tag or card payment. In addition, the Autocharge function is introduced, which makes it possible to charge and pay just by connecting the cable to the vehicle.
Get started
1. Download the Virta app from Google Play or the App Store or sign up via the web.
2. Sign up:
o Select Sweden as the country.
o Accept the terms and privacy policy.
o Enter your personal information.
o Order a charging tag if you wish.
o Register your payment card.
3. Once the registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email.
4. Start charging via the app, charging tag or directly at the pole.
Information about one-time payments is available at the charging post. Information about prices, charging conditions, and availability can be found directly in the Virta app.
Autocharge
Autocharge is a feature that allows you to charge and pay just by inserting the cable into the car. The charger communicates with the app and car automatically. When you have finished charging, you disconnect the charging cable and can drive on to your destination.
Autocharge requires:
• A modern electric car with a CCS connector.
• A charging station with support for Autocharge (works on most DC fast chargers).
• Virta app on first activation.
