Chemical management

Many chemical products have hazardous properties that the person handling the products needs to be informed about. The information contained in the Safety Data Sheet enables the user to handle the products correctly and take safety precautions.

When Swedavia is a distributor/seller of chemical products, Swedavia is responsible for providing a safety data sheet to the person handling the product (laid down in Article 31 of the REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006).
