Fire protection and cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Swedavia offers mandatory fire safety training and training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation with defibrillators to the airport's employees and operators.
According to the Act on Protection against Accidents, everyone who works at Swedavia's airports must undergo fire safety training to ensure that everyone who works at the airport has knowledge of the rules regarding fire safety.
The airport rescue service at Landvetter therefore offers a mandatory training course where you gain knowledge about how to prevent, act and handle a fire and how to conduct preventive fire protection work at the airport. More information about registration can be found below.
The airport rescue service also offers training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR/AED). After completing the training, you will have knowledge of the technique for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the authority to handle a defibrillator (AED). Fire Protection (BSU)
Swedavia offers mandatory fire safety training (BSU) that the airport's employees and actors must complete every four years under the Act on Protection against Accidents, to ensure that their own staff have knowledge of the airport's rules on fire safety.
The training is for everyone who works at Swedavia's airports and for those who are external partners at one of Swedavia's airports. After completing the training, you will have knowledge of how to prevent, act and handle a fire and how to conduct preventive fire protection work at the airport.
The completed training must be documented and be able to be presented on request.
The training will be carried out every four years and is provided by Landvetter's Airport Rescue Service, which has certified instructors.

Time required
The training takes 3.5 hours.
Cost
900 SEK per participant, or 8000 SEK for a full course of maximum 12 participants.
The minimum number of participants is five. The maximum number of participants is 12 participants per training session.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR/AED)
Swedavia offers training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR/AED). After completing the training, you will have knowledge of the technique of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and how to handle a defibrillator (AED).
The training is for everyone who works at Swedavia's airports and for those who are external partners at one of Swedavia's airports.
The training consists of a theoretical and a practical part and is held by Swedavia's Airport Rescue Service, which has certified instructors.
Time required
The training takes 3 hours.
Cost
The training costs SEK 800 per participant, or SEK 7000 for a full course with a maximum number of 12 participants.
Minimum number of participants is 5 participants. The maximum number of participants is 12 participants per training session.
