TTF's mission is to ensure that the airport and its stakeholders have the right information, tools, preparedness, action plan and decision-making body in connection with snowfall and other expected situations and events that can affect the airport's capacity.
The links below contain summary information from completed TTF meetings. Under each heading you may sometimes also find updated information about an ongoing event.

January 5
We are providing weather information due to the snow that is expected to affect operations at the airport on Monday.
Weather
Forecast for Monday January 6:
A deep low pressure is moving inland from the southwest. At 13–14 Lpcal time, the snowfall is expected to spread over Arlanda with the risk of large amounts of snow in the form of heavy, wet snow that turns into rain later in the night.
- Precipitation amounts are expected to be 7–12 cm, heaviest in the late evening before it changes to rain.
 - The temperature is expected to be around zero throughout the day.
 - East wind 10 knots as it moves in. By evening, 15 knots are expected, which can reach 20-30 knots in the gusts.

Capacity/Runways
- The goal is to keep two runways open as far into the day as possible: Runway 1 (01L/19R) and Runway 2 (08/26).
 - When the precipitation increases, there is a risk of having to switch to single runway operation (01L/19R).
 - No planned arrival restriction as long as we have two runways open.
 - Full staffing and machinery in the field as well as good capacity for de-icing.

Preparations
- In order to effectively clear surfaces and service roads around stands from snow, all objects on the ground – cones, shocks, carts – must be removed.
 - Please gather all apron equipment, place it in its dedicated location and give the snow removal vehicles the m aneuvering space they need.
 - IF you need specific snow removal, contact Swedavia's snow coordinator (010-109 15 00) well in advance for the best possible prioritization. The situation is monitored but we need everyone's eyes!
 - Equipment for easier snow removal is available at each stand for sweeping and sanding aircraft stairs and walkways.
