The Blood Bus arrives at Landvetter
Save lives during working hours on 4-5 June when the Blood Bus arrives at Landvetter!
Location: The event area in the southern part of the terminal (continue past MAX and the bus stops to the end of the terminal). Parking takes place in regular areas in the terminal area.
Time: 4 and 5 June at 08.30-14.45
In Sweden, an average of one blood bag is needed per minute, around the clock, all year round. The blood saves lives and is used, for example, in cancer treatments, childbirth, operations, accidents and strengthens Sweden's preparedness.
Before the Blood Bus's visit
Are you a new blood donor? To be able to donate blood, you need to register as a blood donor.
Register at https://geblod.nu/bli-blodgivare/ or on site when the bus arrives.
Are you already a blood donor?
The Blood Bus prioritizes those who have booked an appointment. If you have a little less margin, the very best thing is to book your appointment at https://geblod.nu/bli-blodgivare/ There are also drop-in places.
Health declaration/preparations
Every time you visit the Blood Bus, you fill in an electronic health declaration in which you tell them how you feel, whether you have visited the healthcare system or if, for example, you have taken any medicine.
Remember to bring an approved ID and have set aside time for about 30-45 minutes to avoid stress.
If someone wants to donate blood in a language other than Swedish, it is currently only handled at Nordstan's clinic.
