Security Policy
Purpose and goal
- Safety is fundamental to aviation and thus to Swedavia. We will therefore constantly strive to ensure that Swedavia's airports are safe and secure places for our passengers, visitors, partners and employees.
- For us, it is a matter of course to comply with applicable legislation, comply with internal governing documents and other applicable national and international rules and requirements, and take responsibility for our airports' task within Sweden's total defence.
- We will also work to ensure that aviation safety, aviation security, information security, security protection and other security work are constantly improved, and maintain good security awareness in the business.
Basic rules
- Consideration for our safety must permeate every part of the business and always be taken into account in decisions and activities.
- Security procedures at our airports should be experienced at the same high level for our passengers, visitors, partners and employees.
- Swedavia's employees must always maintain a good safety culture
and be a role model in airport safety work and for our customers
and other actors. - Incidents related to safety must always be reported by Swedavia's employees.
- Swedavia's employees must all be involved in the company's safety work and be well acquainted with applicable rules. All deviations or incidents must be reported without delay for investigation, cause analysis and the development of corrective and preventive measures.
- Swedavia must have good preparedness and planning to deal with serious disruptions that may occur, both in our ordinary work and during heightened alert and war. Our airports must be able to ensure continuity with good service, safety, security and communication.
- Swedavia will actively participate in local, regional, national and international work with the aim of improving safety for the aviation industry.
- Swedavia must always have a clear preventive focus on its security work, with the aim of identifying and assessing risks and threats at an early stage. Identified risks and threats must be managed and addressed as soon as possible
Follow-up
- By always following up on deviations and striving for continuous improvements in our operations, we can manage safety work in a risk-based and systematic manner. Follow-up with internal quality controls is our primary way of ensuring our safety levels.
- Swedavia HSSE and Corporate Security are responsible for overall implementation within their respective areas of responsibility, and it is each manager's responsibility to ensure knowledge of and compliance with the policy and associated guidelines and governing documents.
