Authorisation system for the sale of aviation fuel
To ensure an open and competition-neutral market for the sale of aviation fuel at Swedavia's regional airports, Swedavia applies an authorisation system.
What does the authorisation system mean?
The system gives fuel operators the opportunity to operate under fair and transparent conditions.
Fuel companies that meet the basic conditions below and sign a ground handling service agreement are granted access to the airport to conduct operations in accordance with item 7.1 of the appendix to the Act (2000:150) on Ground Handling Services at Airports. The authorisation system is continuously open, which means that new operators who meet the conditions can apply at any time.
Basic requirements for authorization
To be granted authorisation, the following is required:
- Approved application for ground handling business agreement
- Fulfilment of the conditions of the signed ground handling service agreement
- Commitment to provide groundhandling services in accordance with section 7.1 of the Annex to the Act (2000:150) on Groundhandling Services at Airports at At Least One of the following groups of airports:
- Group 1: Umeå Airport (UME), Åre Östersund Airport (OSD) and Ronneby Airport (RBY)
- Group 2: Luleå Airport (LLA), Kiruna Airport (KRN) and Visby Airport (VBY)
