What is happening or what needs to be done?
Now Flygeln is finally going away!
Preparatory work for the dismantling of Flygeln will begin. The work includes initial cleaning and demolition of the parts that need to be removed prior to dismantling. Scaffolding will then be established around the entire Flygeln to enable continued work.
In connection with the work, the perimeter protection limit will also need to be changed in two stages, partly while Flygeln is still standing and partly after Flygeln has been dismantled.
Mobile crane will be used during the lifting of modules.
Consequences? Who is particularly affected?
From October 15, a larger part of the parking outside the wing will be used as a work area. This affects contract parking, visitor parking and passenger parking in the area. As early as October 1, the project will use the visitor parking outside the wing.
The walkways past the wing will also be affected and need to be led from October 15th.
The changes to the perimeter boundary will be implemented in two stages and will change the boundary in the area as the dismantling work progresses.
An increased flow of trucks to the work area applies from the beginning of November.
Which area of the airport is affected?
Flygeln and surrounding areas, including parking and walkways.
