What is happening or what needs to be done?
On 19 and 20 May, Norrvatten will test run the Märsta groundwater plant, which is one of Norrvatten's reserve water plants.
Some businesses and companies use technical equipment that is assessed to be affected by the composition of the groundwater. This applies to healthcare providers that operate dialysis equipment, district heating plants, laundries, food producers, pharmaceutical companies, zoo shops that have aquariums and companies that have purification equipment for the production of ultrapure water.
Most ordinary consumers will not notice any difference, more than possibly that there may be a little more limescale deposits in household appliances.
Consequences? Who is particularly affected?
The groundwater treatment plant will deliver water on 19 and 20 May. The change in the water will occur after a delay of a few days. Görvälnverket will also deliver water during the period, which means that subscribers in affected municipalities will receive a "mixed" water.
Which area of the airport is affected?
The entire municipality of Sigtuna, i.e. the entire airport.
