What is happening or what needs to be done?
This Airport Information replaces AI-175-2026
- A new entrance to pick up and drop off at P56 (P 2 hours) will be built.
- The aim is to increase the use of pick up and drop off at P56 and improve traffic flow, especially when pick up and drop off (1 hour) is fully occupied. The measure creates the conditions for better real-time information, clearer signage and a more accessible entrance to P56.
- The establishment work 4-10 May focuses on putting up fences, moving mobile infrastructure, temporary change of signs (together with operational colleagues), reduction of materials etcetera.
- After the establishment, the project will move into construction work and additional areas of P56 will be closed. A separate AI about design and construction steps will be published during week 19.
- The entire project/measure is expected to be completed by June 28, 2026. This will open the new P56 pick up and drop off (P1551) again.
Consequences? Who is particularly affected?
Pick up and drop off at P56 (2 hours) will be turned off from May 4 through June 28, 2026.
The passage for pedestrians through the establishment area will be kept clear so that pedestrian traffic from P56, can continue to reach the T5 via the pedestrian crossing on Arlandaleden/Nordanleden.
