TTF's mission is to ensure that the airport and its stakeholders have the right information, tools, preparedness, action plan and decision-making body in connection with snowfall and other expected situations and events that can affect the airport's capacity.
The links below contain summary information from completed TTF meetings. Under each heading you may sometimes also find updated information about an ongoing event.

We are providing weather information due to the precipitation combined with wind that is expected to affect airport operations from Wednesday through Friday.
Weather
- A low-pressure system over southern Sweden is generating areas of snow and snow showers. Precipitation is likely to start Wednesday afternoon. There is a risk of freezing drizzle Wednesday afternoon and evening.
- The expected form of precipitation is snow and sleet.
- Occasional freezing rain Wednesday afternoon and evening.
- Total precipitation expected: 1–15 centimeters over the entire period.
- On Thursday, wind gusts may reach up to 40 knots while precipitation shifts toward rain.
- Temperatures will range from -7 to 0 degrees Celsius. Ground temperature is low, which means icing will occur quickly.
Capacity/Runways
- The goal is to keep two runways open: Runway 1 (01L/19R) and Runway 2 (08/26).
- Increasing winds Thursday into Friday will likely result in single-runway operations on Runway 1 (01L/19R).
- Full staffing and equipment will be deployed on the field. Once snowfall ends, post-clearing work will remain as usual.
- Arrival restrictions may be issued to balance demand.
- Landing restrictions may remain in place longer to allow clearing work at parking stands, even if runways are fully operational.
Preparations
- To enable efficient snow clearing of areas and service roads around parking stands, items on the ground - cones, chocks, carts - must be removed.
- Gather all apron equipment, place it in designated areas, and give snow-clearing vehicles the space they need.
- If you require specific snow clearing, contact Swedavia’s Snow Coordinator (tel. 010-109 1500) well in advance for best possible prioritization. The situation is monitored, but we all need to help and cooperate.
- Equipment for basic snow clearing is available at each stand for sweeping and sanding stairs and walkways to aircraft.
