Airport Regulations

Airport Regulations

Airport Regulations (AR) are Swedavia's established application of regulations, which encompass both national and international requirements that an airport must regulate and ensure that operations at the airport comply with.

Airport Regulations apply to all employees of authorities, companies, and other organisations operating at the airport (hereinafter referred to as actors). Certain activities require specific permits, authorisations, or agreements. It is the responsibility of the actors to identify and obtain the necessary permits, authorisations, or agreements to meet the requirements according to European and Swedish legislation, as well as Swedavia's AR.

In the new structure for Airport Regulations, we have chosen to organise the texts thematically into five parts and an introduction. The texts are standardised and apply to all of Swedavia's international airports (Arlanda, Bromma, Landvetter, and Malmö). Each airport has its own edition, with both generic text and site-specific content, published according to a common annual plan.

Each part contains, in addition to the requirements, references to related information that we have gathered on five pages, which you can find in the link collection to the right.
